Please see the attached Minutes for you information
We have been contacted by residents asking about the enforcement of the new 20 mph zones on and around Pepper Mill & Arleston Lane, Lawley.
Please see below a letter from West Mercia & Warwickshire police explaining the enforcement process.
What would YOU want from a Community Facility?
We are asking for your views about what, as a community, you would require from a Community Hub IF a local site could be secured.
This would be primarily be a community space rather than a leisure facility, as whilst it was planned that there would be future Community Facilities, such plan didn’t include leisure/sports facilities.
Currently there is limited Community use available at the local Academy, the existing Lawley Community Centre, and a few other providers, but these do not meet the needs of the growing development and we are keen to try and secure more but need to establish what it is that, YOU, the Community would want to see included & would use in the future.
Consequently we are inviting you to comment on our Facebook page or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with what you would like to have available in such a building.
Please also share the above information with other residents, so that they too may make their view known.
The closing date for comments to be received is Thursday 29th March 2018
Thank you for your interest & participation!
As an extension to the Green Guarantee an additional 96 sites have been identified across the borough and a number fall within our Parish and we need your help to protect them from future development.
We need you, your friends and family to go online and vote for your favourite sites – the top 50 sites voted for will each receive funding of £1000 to make environmental improvements.

Information received from Telford & Wrekin Council:
Although recycling and rubbish collection crews have managed to complete the majority of collections scheduled for this week, there is a small amount of properties in the Overdale/Ketley area that remain outstanding.
We aim to have these remaining collections completed by the beginning of next week and we will continue to keep all updated on Monday.
The message to residents in adverse weather conditions is still:-
- Please put containers due to be collected out on your usual collection day.
- If crews don’t manage to collect on your scheduled day, please leave your red top bin or purple top bin and your blue bag out in a safe place and they will be collected as soon as possible.
- If your green bin isn’t collected, please take it back in and put it out on your next scheduled collection date.
- Pre-arranged assisted collections will also be undertaken by the crews where possible.
Many thanks to residents affected for their patience.
