Lawley 5K Fun Run 2021
Get your trainers on and start practicing, as the Lawley 5K Fun Run is returning to our streets!
This annual event had to be held virtually last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but this year we are pleased to announce that it’s back, and in-person.
Our partners at the Lawley Running Club and Bournville Village Trust have been working hard with us to arrange a COVID-safe way to hold the run.
It will be a little different than previous years; there won’t be any stalls, and we can’t offer food at the finish line. You’ll still receive a medal and goody bag for taking part, though!
It kicks off at 1pm on Saturday 11 September.
The entry fee is £6, with all proceeds going to charity. This year, Lawley and Overdale Parish Council has agreed to match-fund the amount raised, allowing the event to support two great charities – West Mercia Search and Rescue, and Telford MIND.
Check out the Lawley Running Club Fun Run page for more information, including the results of past events.
