Laurel Lane, Overdale road closure, 21 October 2021
Lawley and Overdale Parish Council has been advised that there will be a road closure for one day on Laurel Lane, Overdale in October, to undertake highway improvement works.
Balfour Beatty, on behalf of Telford & Wrekin Council, is planning to undertake resurfacing works starting on Thursday 21 October 2021, and the work is expected to last from 8am until 5pm.
Signage and a diversion route will be posted on-site.
“Suspicious males” and a burglary attempt in Old Park

Irresponsible dog walkers consultation
Telford & Wrekin Council (TWC) has launched the Dog Control Public Space Protection Order consultation today, which will outline their proposals for tackling irresponsible dog walkers and owners.
The consultation is going to run for six weeks, allowing TWC “to engage with as many residents, communities and organisations as possible”.
“We really welcome your thoughts and input into how we should be tackling this issue”, said Paul Fenn, from TWC.
