Tea, Toast, and Talk

Come and join us every Friday at the Carpenter Centre, Overdale, for our weekly community event – Tea, Toast, and Talk!

These casual events give local residents the chance to meet up with other members of their community, and maybe make some new friends while enjoying some hot refreshments in a warm environment.

Not only will you be able to mingle, but there will also be some varied activities on offer, and some organisations will occasionally join us to discuss issues facing your community, or even to offer training courses!

Past themes have included crafts such as stone painting and making models out of clay, and Learn Telford is one of the organisations to have come along!

Tea, Toast, and Talk is open to all local residents. It’s hosted every Friday at the Carpenter Centre in Overdale (except Bank Holidays), between 10am – 12pm. We ask for a £1 donation if you can spare it to help pay for the supplies, but don’t worry if you can’t!

Initial funding for this event was generously provided by Telford & Wrekin Council’s Safer, Stronger Communities project, and Councillor Mark Boylan’s Councillors’ Pride Fund.

Food, hot drinks, activities. Carpenter Centre, Overdale. Every Friday, 10am - 12pm. £1 donation. Working with the Safer, Stronger Communities project."
