SEE Malinsgate Open Day FLYER FOR MORE INFORMATION

There was an article printed in the Shropshire Star that has caused questions to be asked by local residents regarding a delay until January 2016 on the opening of the new Academy that was due to open in September 2015.

This was taken from a press release placed on Telford & Wrekin Council website as the link below:

We have spoken to the Education department today and they inform us that any parents wishing their child to attend the new Lawley Academy should still apply in the normal way via the admissions system.

They are still hopeful that the build programme will be completed by September but in case of any slippage they would host alternative accommodation for the youngsters with their teacher from the new school until the build was complete.

Please direct any enquiries to the admissions team as above.

The Lawley 5k Fun Run held last weekend has raised £520.00 so far with a few more donations to be added. A BIG thank you to everyone involved in raising this great amount. A cheque will be presented to Charlotte Harvey,  the local volunteer and fund raiser when all monies are in.
