Lawley 5K Fun Run 2022

As a mark of respect following the passing of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Lawley 5K run was postponed, but it eventually took place at 1pm on Saturday 24 September 2022

We worked in partnership with Lawley Running Club and Bournville Village Trust to bring the annual event back to the parish once more, and it was attended by nearly 200 people.

We are proud to announce that the event raised £1,062.50, which was presented to Telford First Responders on 27  September at the Grazing Cow!

We’d like to thank everybody who took part and made this possible. We’d also like to thank our partners and the sponsors of the event.

Dan Hassall, Deputy Managing Director of Persimmon Homes, said: “The Fun Run is a great way to bring the community together at the same time as raising funds and I’m delighted we were able to play a part in what proved to be a great event for the people of Lawley.”

Stay tuned for details on next year’s Fun Run, but in the meantime here are some photos and video from the event!
