Information received from Telford & Wrekin Council:
As part of the Council’s ongoing investment into its roads and footpaths, we will shortly be delivering a school safety zone project by Lawley Primary School along Pepper Mill road, this will include the installation of a new Controlled Zebra crossing adjacent to Lawley Primary School and Number 33 Pepper Mill.
Works will involve the installation of the new crossing and associated footway links including a small retaining wall.
When are we planning to deliver this work?
The work is due to take place on Monday 12th August 2019 and be completed by Monday 2nd September 2019 weather permitting. Works will be completed under a daytime Road Closure. The road will be closed during working hours then re-opened late afternoon. Traffic management and diversion plans for this scheme are attached.
We will be working between 07:30-16:30hrs and will have our dedicated teams on site to assist you during this time to help you get past the working areas safely should you need to do so.
