POSTPONED: Drop-in surgery in Overdale, 26 September

UPDATE 23/09/2020: As the coronavirus pandemic worsens and new government restrictions are introduced, we are sorry to announce that we have unfortunately decided to POSTPONE the upcoming drop-in surgeries.

We will seek to reschedule them at a later date, when the situation has hopefully improved.

In the meantime we will be making surveys available online so that you can still share your views with us.

As soon as we have any updates we will let you know.

ORIGINAL 16/09/2020: Lawley and Overdale Parish Council, in partnership with the police Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT), is planning to host additional ‘police drop-in surgeries’ across the parish.

Our next stop, coronavirus permitting, is Overdale.

On 26 September 2020 we’ll be at the Carpenter Centre in Overdale, Telford, between 2pm and 4pm.

Come and join your councillors and representatives from the police SNT for a socially-distanced chat about crime and anti-social behaviour.

You’ll have the opportunity to discuss your issues and concerns in detail with both the police and your local councillors. We will also be asking participants to complete a survey about anti-social behaviour they’ve experienced in the area.

The information we’ve gathered from the drop-in surgeries so far has been very valuable. Once we’ve completed the run of drop-in surgeries, we’ll be publishing our findings online.

We would ask all visitors to wear appropriate face coverings and respect social distancing.
