Lawley and Overdale Parish Council has been advised that parts of Telford Box Road, Woodhouse Central, will be closed for 17 working days in February 2021, due to carriageway crossing improvement works.
Balfour Beatty, in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council, will be conducting the carriageway crossing improvement works as part of the Council’s Pride in Our Community investment scheme.
The works will involve the existing block-paved surfaces being removed, and replaced with tarmac and a grey, high-friction finish
Starting on Monday 1 February 2021, the works are expected to last 40 days, with an estimated end date of Friday 26 March 2021.
Balfour Beatty will be completing the works using sectional road closures. The following locations will be affected:
- Woodhouse Central
- Grange Central
- Northfield Street
- Hollinsgate
- Lawn Central
- Forge Gate
- St Quentin Gate
It is anticipated that the roads will be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position, and only for so long as is necessary to execute the works
You can email Balfour Beatty if you have any questions about the works.
