Phase 11 planning application to be heard at Planning Committee

The Lawley Phase 11 application TWC/2020/0047 that is to be heard at Planning Committee on 19 May, will have representation speaking against the application from Cllr John Yorke, Chairman of Lawley & Overdale Parish Council and Cllr Jayne Greenaway, Ward member for Horsehay & Lightmoor.

We have been advised that due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, capacity restrictions within the meeting room are in place. Priority for public access to the meeting room will be given to those who have registered to speak on an application to be considered at this meeting.

If there are spaces remaining in the public gallery after the registered speakers have been seated, then these seats will be offered to the public on a first come, first served basis, however, capacity is limited, and as such we would strongly recommend that interested members of the public watch the proceedings via the live stream on YouTube.

Should there be more registered speakers than the capacity of the room allows, you will be provided with an estimated timeslot for your application. Please wait outside of the venue until you are called in to speak.

Registered speakers may need to leave the venue following their chance to speak to allow further speakers access to the venue.

In summary, the meeting is open to the public, however, given the number of speakers expected on the 19 May it is unlikely we will have space for additional members of the public. We would advise that both the 18 and 19 meetings will be streamed on YouTube and that that is the most reliable way to view the meeting.

The link for the YouTube stream will be on the relevant agenda page for each meeting prior to the meeting’s start.
