Improvements around the parish

Our Parish Environmental Team (PET), as part of the Community Action Team (CAT), has been out and about at the town centre and Newdale since the start of the New Year, doing some routine tidying-up.

The first stop was last week – at the top end of West Centre Way, on the footpath from the traffic lights around and down the Land Registry offices. Gorse bushes and ivy were doing their best to block access to pedestrians, but our PET operative did his best to put a stop to it. See for yourself who won!

Then this week, our ever-busy PET operative went and recovered a footpath in Charlecote, Newdale, which had been buried under mounds of soggy plant litter. A little sweeping and scraping later, and the path was as good as new!

Our PET operative is always out and about working on problems like this in the parish. Please let us know if you find any spots that need work!
