At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Lawley and Overdale Parish Council held on Thursday 5 May 2022, Councillor Raj Mehta was elected as Chairman of the Parish Council. He will be supported by Councillor Cathy Salter as Vice Chairman, also elected yesterday.
“I look forward to working with my fellow councillors and supporting the local community”, said Cllr Mehta upon accepting the role.
Councillors Mehta and Salter, along with the rest of the Council, will be working with all residents across our parish and community to deliver the Parish Council’s year of 2022/23 development plan.
On behalf of the community and Lawley and Overdale Parish Council, the Chairman and the rest of the councillors would like to thank Councillor John Yorke for his dedication and commitment as Chairman over the past 12 months.
