LPB community groups grants and events grants

The Lawley Partnership Board (LPB) has announced that it is making grants available to community groups and for local events, to help build communities in the Lawley area.

Community groups grants are open to:

  • A group of people with an interest in starting a group/organisation in their area
  • An informal group that already meet but would like to put formal governance in place
  • Not-for-profit organisations including:
    • community and voluntary organisations
    • registered charities
    • social enterprises
  • The group’s main beneficiaries must be resident in the Borough of Telford and Wrekin
  • The activities to be provided by this grant must be offered within the Borough of Telford and Wrekin
  • the group must be about to start up or in the process of starting up.

Events grants are open to:

  • a group of people with an interest in arranging a public event in Lawley, for the community of Lawley, who are either:
    • a community/voluntary group
    • registered charities
    • other not for profit organisation
    • resident association
    • faith group.
