Bournville Village Trust (BVT) is hosting a family picnic with storytelling activities, together with The Montessori Rainbow and Lawley Bank Court, on Saturday 17 June 2023.
The event will begin at 11:30am and run until 1pm, in the paddock field behind Lawley Bank Court, Martingale Way, TF4 2PP.
According to BVT’s publicity:
We hope that children under 5, families, older residents and the local community will come together for a picnic in the paddock field. Children can meet Mawley Mole the Lawley mascot, join the storytelling activities and there is a free book goodie bag for children under 5 (limited numbers, first come first served). Please bring picnic blankets, your food and your favourite teddy bears.
Lawley Bank Court are supporting the event by allowing community access to toilets and the café area seating for anyone attending the event. Refreshments, including ice cream, are available from their restaurant. Should there be poor weather we will hold the event inside Lawley Bank Court in the reception and café area where there is also a children’s play corner.
