Free LED lightbulbs – whilst stocks last

Lawley and Overdale Parish Council have a limited supply of LED lightbulbs free to residents whilst stocks last.

Telford & Wrekin Council Cost of Living Crisis LED Bulb Distribution Scheme has been devised to assist those residents most affected by the cost of living crisis. The aim is to provide households with energy efficient LED bulbs to help lower lighting related energy bills. It is envisaged that he scheme will also help reduce the carbon footprint.

With the dark nights drawing in earlier, residents may possibly see an increase in their electricity bills.

The LED light bulbs have a 15,000 hour life span (based on 2.7 hours usage per day). With a bayonet cap, they use 7 watts of power and provide a warm light output.

Stocks are limited but if you would like to receive some free bulbs please call into the Parish Council office Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
