M54 Maintenance Work

We have been advised by National Highways that maintenance work will be taking place on the M54 between junction 2 and 4 from Thursday 27 February 2025 to Monday 21 April 2025.
The closures will take place from 8:00pm to 6:00am as will be as follows –
Thursday 27 February from 8pm to 6am and Friday 28 February at 8pm to 6am Monday 3 March – M54 eastbound junction 4 to junction 3 closed.
Thursday 6 March from 8pm to 6am and Friday 7 March at 8pm to 6am Monday 10 March – M54 eastbound junction 4 to junction 3 closed.
Thursday 13 March from 8pm to 6am and Friday 14 March at 8pm to 6am Monday 17 March – M54 eastbound junction 4 to junction 2 closed.
Thursday 20 March from 8pm to 6am and Friday 21 March at 8pm to 6am Monday 24 March – M54 eastbound junction 3 to junction 2 closed.
Thursday 27 March from 8pm to 6am and Friday 28 March at 8pm to 6am Monday 31 March – M54 eastbound junction 3 to junction 2 closed.
Thursday 3 April from 8pm to 6am and Friday 4 April at 8pm to 6am Monday 7 April – M54 eastbound junction 4 to junction 2 closed.
Thursday 10 April from 8pm to 6am and Friday 11 April at 8pm to 6am Monday 14 April – M54 westbound junction 2 to junction 3 closed.

Breakfast & Board Games – Friday 21st February 9:30am-11:30am

On Friday 21st February, we will be hosting our first ever breakfast and board game sessions.
In partnership with Barnardo’s, we will be providing free breakfast for children aged between 10 & 16yrs – we will also have a selection of board games and games to keep them entertained!.
Places do need to be booked as space is limited – please email tonilouise.bambrough@barnardos.org.uk or kedemah.lubsey@barnardos.org.uk to secure a space.
We will be running more of these sessions throughout the year so please keep an eye out for future breakfast & board games sessions.
We would like to thank Cllr Luke Lewis, Cllr Zona Hannington and Cllr Erin Aston. who have provided some of their Councillor Pride Funding from Telford & Wrekin Council for the purchase of breakfast foods and some of the games.

Thursday 3rd April – Stratford-upon-Avon Coach Trip

Tickets for our coach trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon are now available for purchase  – all details can be found below.
We would like to thank Cllr Luke Lewis, Cllr Zona Hannington & Cllr Erin Aston. who covered the cost of the coach with their Telford & Wrekin Council Pride Funding
🛒Where: Tickets can be purchased from our website or alternatively, can be purchased at the Lawley & Overdale Parish Office between 10.00am – 2.00pm weekday)
💷How much: Adults £5 (Over 16’s only). All monies raised will be donated to Parish chosen Charity for 2025 (TBC).
🏘️Who is this open to? Our Coach trip is only open to residents (Over age of 16) of Lawley & Overdale Parish (This includes: Lawley Village, Overdale, The Rock, Newdale, Old Park, and everywhere in-between).
🏘️What to bring: We will require proof of address to purchase tickets (Council Tax bill, utility bill etc). For tickets purchased on-line, please e-mail copy of proof of address to enquiries@lawleyoverdale.org.uk.
Additional Info: Tickets will not be reserved; they will be on sale on a first-come-first-service basis.
🚍Depart Lawley: 9.30am (Pick Up Time 9.15am /location Lawley Village Academy School), Depart back from Stratford-Upon-Avon: 17.00pm (Pick Up Time 16.45pm/Location Bishopton Lane, Stratford-Upon-Avon, CV37 9QY).
