What a jam packed six weeks of activities we had on! At Carpenter Centre, Overdale and at Lawley Community Centre we had a wide variety of free activities for all to take part in.

We had Relax Kids Telford with Kirsty provide activities and relaxation classes, crafting and fun with The Creation Station Ltd, meeting interesting bugs and animals with Exotic Zoo, making mischief in the sky and learning about Egypt with Tommy’s Treasures.

Jon from Boardroom Gaming Café talked all about science, energy and fire whilst Leo from Leo’s Loco Circus taught us all some circus skills – he even showed us a bit of magic!

Katie’s Kids Kitchen was the usual hit, with some yummy cakes made on her sessions!

We would like to thank our partners, BVT in Lawley Village who helped organise, staff and pay for the sessions as well as Cllr Mark Boylan, Cllr Zona Hannington, Cllr Erin Aston and Cllr Luke Lewis who all provided funding through Telford & Wrekin Council’s Pride Funding.

We would also like to thank The Wrekin Housing Group who provided additional funding through their Children’s Summer Activities Fund.

As we look towards Summerfest next year, we would like to thank everybody that made this years the best one so far!

We certainly had a great day, we hope everybody that came along did too! It was lovely to see so many attend our annual event on a fun & sun filled day.
