Mobile SNT Surgeries – May 2025

Officers from the Lawley and Overdale Safer Neighbourhood Team will be holding the following surgeries throughout the remainder of May.

They will be on hand to listen to any concerns that you might have and offer crime prevention advice. They will also be able to sign residents up to our messaging service Neighbourhood Matters.

Everyone is welcome and it would be great to see you.

Friday 16th May, 10-11am – Carpenter Centre, Overdale (Tea, Toast & Talk)
Friday 23rd May 10-11am – Carpenter Centre, Overdale (Tea, Toast & Talk)
Saturday 24th May 10-11am – Co-op Milners Lane, Dawley Bank
Thursday 29th May 6-7pm – Lawley Square, Lawley

Lawley Youth Club – starting Friday 6th June 2025

We are pleased to announce that, in partnership with 4 All Foundation, a new Youth Group will be starting at Lawley Community Centre on Friday 6th June. This will be a weekly club, running through the school holidays and throughout the year, with the sessions for 10-16 year olds initially.
We would like to thank Cllr Luke Lewis, Cllr Mark Boylan, Cllr Zona Hannington and Cllr Erin Aston who have provided funding from their Councillor Pride Funding to pay for the sessions.

Police Surgery – Dawley Bank

Officers from the Lawley & Overdale Safer Neighbourhood Team, part of  West Mercia Police, will be available for residents to raise any concerns and to offer crime prevention advice on Thursday 1st May 2025 at Princes End play park, just off Husselbee Crescent, Dawley Bank from 6pm.

All are welcome to call by, ask questions about crime prevention or raise any issues they may have.

Easter Trail – 15th April 2025

What a fantastic turnout for our Easter Trail this morning! It was lovely to see so many of you attend and complete our trail, join in with crafts, play the garden games and have fun!

It was that busy, we nearly ran out of Easter Eggs – thankfully we didn’t!

It was great to see so many attend from all over the parish and take part in the events and activities we offer throughout the year.

Thanks as well to BVT in Lawley Village for assisting in the organising of the trail and to Cllr Luke Lewis, Cllr Erin Aston and Cllr Zona Hannington who provided money to purchase the eggs from their Councillor Pride Funding.
