PET WORK WEEK COMMENCING 29th MAY

Following the Bank Holiday work was completed in the following areas:

  • Weeds sprayed around the car park at Princes End
  • watering of the shrub bed, herb bed and raised beds at the Community Garden
  • Weeds sprayed at Old Park shrub bed and steps
  • Wildflower seeds sown in the Community Garden
  • Fly tip removed from Ironbridge Way
  • overhanging shrubs cut back from the footpath and traffic signs at Mossey Green Way
  • nails sticking out from fencing on Rock Road at the kissing gate made safe
  • overhanging branches and rose bushes cut back from the footpath on West Centre Way behind Thomas Telford School
  • strimmed and weeded around the Community Garden
  • cut back overhanging branches on Rock Road to improve the sight line for traffic
  • strimmed along the fence at the top of West Centre Way by St Heliers
  • reduced the height of shrubs in Dawley Bank and litter picked and weeded the shrub bed
  • mowed along the bridleway off Rock Road
  • sprayed weeds and strimmed around the gate  at the top of the Ironbridge Way
  • removed debris from Dawley Road
