Parish Council office and COVID-19 announcement

Update – 19/11/2021

The office is now open to the public on an appointment-based system.

The Lawley and Overdale Parish Council office is fairly small and lacks proper ventilation, which makes keeping staff and visitors safe during visits difficult.

In order to limit the number of people in the office at any one time to protect both our staff and visitors, we feel that an appointment system is a compromise between returning to normal, and upholding our duty of care.

If you wish to make an appointment to meet with a member of staff, please get in touch with us.

Update – 23/03/2020

Please be aware that all Parish Council staff will now be working from home until further notice.

We are still available by email. We are also able to check our answerphone messages remotely. If you would rather contact us by phone, please leave a message and someone will get back to you as soon as they can.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding in these difficult times.

Original story – 16/03/2020

Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Lawley and Overdale Parish Council has decided to take steps to try and safeguard both our staff and residents of the parish.

As such, the parish office will be closed to all visitors until further notice.

It is our hope that this will help to limit potential contact with COVID-19 as much as possible.

Please note that although we are closed to visitors, the office is still staffed and working. You can still get in touch with us online or over the phone.

Alternatively, our councillors are available for contact by email or telephone.

We hope you all stay safe and healthy. See the links below for information on coronavirus and what you need to do.
