Forest Glen temporary One Way Road Order, 17 June 2020

Lawley and Overdale Parish Council has been advised that part of the Forest Glen road will be subject to a One Way Road Order for up to 18 months, starting from 17 June 2020. This is to protect passengers and cyclists from traffic.

Telford & Wrekin Council is placing this restriction to protect pedestrians and cyclists, and also to mitigate dangerous parking. The One Way Road Order will start on Wednesday 17 June 2020, and may last for 18 months, up to Friday 17 December 2021.

The Council has noted that this restriction may not be in effect for the entire 18 month period, and will be reviewed.

“It is anticipated that the roads will be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessary. This will be reviewed and updates provided should this date change.”

The direction of permitted travel will be:

  • Forest Glen To Junction 7 M54, The Wrekin and Forest Glen To Spout Lane Junction, Little Wenlock. Southerly direction of travel only.
  • Ercall Lane, Wellington. Northerly direction of travel only.

The access route for all directions will be signed on site.
