The footpath around the pond on Lawley Village Green had been in a dangerous state of disrepair for over a year. Protruding tree roots and a crumbling surface had led to the path being dangerous to walk on.
Towards the end of July, Lawley and Overdale Parish Council reported that repair work was due to take place before the end of August.
We are pleased to announce that this work has now been completed.
Regular visitors to the Village Green may have noticed that repair work on the footpath was completed by the end August. The surface of the footpath is now safe and in good condition.
We are glad that the issue has now been resolved, and hopeful that the path remains in good condition for the foreseeable future.
