Telford & Wrekin Council (TWC) launched its new borough-wide public health campaign yesterday. Organised by the Health and Wellbeing Service, the ‘Let’s Get Telford Healthy’ scheme aims to support local people with achieving their health goals.
People who sign-up to the scheme will receive 12 weekly messages covering different health topics. Additional messages will regularly be sent with tips and ideas for people to try out.
‘Let’s Get Telford Healthy’ will also provide access to videos, case studies, and a library of links with tutorials and information.
“The coronavirus pandemic has highlighted to many people how important it is to take care of their health, and we have had to get more creative in the way that we support local people to achieve their health related goals,” Mandy Sznober, Health Improvement Practitioner , explained in an email.
You can sign-up to ‘Let’s Get Telford Healthy’ on the Telford & Wrekin Council website.
People concerned about their health, fitness, and/or mental health during the pandemic may also find some helpful information at the Healthy Telford website.
