UPDATED 04/12/20: We have been advised that due to poor weather, the footbridge repair works on Lawn Central, Telford Town Centre, have been extended until Monday 7 December.
ORIGINAL STORY 30/11/2020: Lawley and Overdale Parish Council has been advised that part of the Lawn Central, Telford Town Centre footpath has been closed for four days in November 2020, due to emergency footbridge repair works.
Balfour Beatty on behalf of Telford & Wrekin Council, closed the footpath to undertake essential footbridge repair works, which started on Saturday 28 November 2020. The works are expected to last four days ten days, until Tuesday 1 December 2020 Monday 7 December 2020.
As such, the entire footbridge on the Lawn Central, Telford Town Centre footpath will be closed to pedestrians for four days ten days.
Signage and a diversion route will be posted on-site.
