The advice sheets for the “Big 6” initiative, which provides advice and guidance for parents on the six most common urgent care conditions in children, have been refreshed, says the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
The advice sheets are meant to be easy-to-understand, and give guidance on what parents should do if their child falls ill.

Included in the advice sheet is information on what the illness is and details of its symptoms. There are dedicated sections on how parents and carers can help relieve the symptoms along with practical advice to help their child’s recovery. This includes ways to treat your child at home.
