Telford & Wrekin Council has announced that its customer contact number will be open all night and throughout Saturday, for people to report issues caused by Storm Eunice. The storm is expected to cause high winds later today (18 February) and over the weekend.

You will be aware that Storm Eunice is expected to cause wide spread national disruption over the weekend with high winds expected to hit Telford & Wrekin this afternoon. Council teams and our contractors are resourced and ready to respond. Our Customer Contact Centre (01952 384000) will be open right through today and all through the night and then again all day tomorrow (Saturday 19th) until 5pm to take calls from concerned residents.
If you need to report an issue to us, such as fallen trees, road blockages, flooding or damage to public property, then the number to call while the storm conditions are still impacting is 03451 559955.
For any emergency issue which is likely to cause an immediate risk to life, this should be reported as any emergency to 999.
We will review the situation tomorrow afternoon and take a decision on whether to extend the contact centre opening beyond 5pm tomorrow.
