Lawley and Overdale Parish Council has been advised that there will be road closures for seven nights in October on Dawley Bank Roundabout, Concorde, King Street, and Church Road, Dawley, to undertake highway improvement works.
Balfour Beatty, on behalf of Telford & Wrekin Council, shall be undertaking the highway improvement works starting on Monday 10 October 2022, which are expected to last for seven nights between the hours of 8pm and 6am, until Monday 17 October 2022.
This covers:
- Dawley Bank Roundabout, Dawley in its entirety.
- Concorde, Dawley from its junction with Dawley Bank Roundabout for approximately 40 metres in a north westerly direction.
- King Street, Dawley from its junction with Dawley Green Roundabout to its junction with Purbeck Dale.
- Church Road, Dawley from its junction with Dawley Green Roundabout to its junction with Ardern Avenue.
The diversion route for vehicular traffic travelling in a south easterly direction will be via Concorde, Milners Lane, Old Park Roundabout, Dawley Green Way. The diversion route for vehicles travelling in a north westerly direction will be vice versa. The diversion route for vehicles travelling in a westerly direction will be via Brunel Road, Malinslee Roundabout, West Centre Way, Old Park Roundabout, Dawley Green Way.
The diversion route for vehicles travelling in an easterly direction will be vice versa. The diversion route for vehicular traffic travelling in a northerly direction will be via King Street, Captain Webb Drive, Heath Hill Roundabout and Dawley Green Way. The diversion route for vehicles travelling in a southerly direction will be vice versa.
