Christmas in the parish

So here it is! Christmas has finally arrived in Lawley and Overdale!

It’s been an eventful year for us here at Lawley Parish Council. From an Easter trail and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, to the biggest Summer Fest ever and two massive Christmas fayres – and so much more in between! We hope we’ve put on something for everybody’s tastes this year.

We’d like to take a moment to thank everybody who made all these events possible – our team of staff and councillors here at the Parish Council, contractors, volunteers, local businesses, partner organisations, and of course, you, the residents, for coming to them all!

Our Christmas fayres were both a huge success, but we weren’t done there – we also ran the Elf Stealth School and the Christmas Creatures sessions this week. You can have a look through the photos from all of our Christmas events below.

That’s it from us for 2022, but we’ve got a huge events programme already in the planning stages for next year – starting right out of the gate with the first of our Tea, Toast, and Talk sessions in the Carpenter Centre on Friday 13 January. Keep your eyes peeled here and on social media for more events announcements in the future, and let us know if there are any events you’d like us to consider putting on next year.

From all the staff and councillors here at Lawley and Overdale Parish Council, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, safe New Year.

Here’s to 2023, and hopefully seeing you all at our future events!
