Lawley and Overdale Parish Council has been advised that there will be road works, including a closure, on Princes End, Dawley Bank in February and March 2023, to undertake footway, highway works, and slurry sealing works.
Balfour Beatty, on behalf of Telford & Wrekin Council, is planning to undertake the works starting on Monday 20 February 2023, and the work is expected to last for 33 days, until Friday 24 March 2023.
The work will be divided into three parts:
- Part one will consist of footway works. It will start on Monday 20 February and continue until Wednesday 1 March 2023, between the hours of 8am and 5pm on weekdays. The work will be carried out under localised signing and guarding.
- Part two will consist of highway improvement works. It will start on Tuesday 28 February and continue until Monday 13 March 2023. The work will be carried out under a road closure between the hours of 8am and 5:30pm (weekdays only).
- Part three will consist of footway slurry sealing works. It will start on Tuesday 14 March and continue until Friday 24 March 2023, between the hours of 8am and 5pm on weekdays. The work will be carried out under localised signing and guarding.
