Our Community Action Team (CAT), which includes the Parish Environmental Team (PET) and our Neighbourhood Enforcement Officers (NEOs), has been busy around the parish this week. Our PET operatives have been hard at work tidying up spots from Ladygrove to Dawley Bank, while our NEOs have been issuing tickets to inappropriately-parked drivers.
Our NEOs were out patrolling by Lawley Multi-Use Games Area and Lawley Square, keeping an eye out for trouble and making sure bins were emptied.
They found a couple of inappropriately-parked vehicles on their travels, and issued them with penalty charge notices.
Meanwhile, our PET operative started out over at Ladygrove, where he rescued a road sign from some encroaching leaves.
Then it was off to Lawley Village green and the Lawley Multi-Use Games Area, tidying-up the area to make sure it was all in order for the Coronation Carnival this Sunday!
He later moved to the footpath off Rock Road, leading into Captains Meadow, where some foliage was attempting to take over.
It was no match for our PET operative, however.
Then it was off to an alleyway between Hillford and the cemetery in Dawley Bank, to uncover a long-lost footpath.
Finally it was up to Lawley Community Centre, to clean-up some debris that was obscuring double-yellow lines.
