Telford & Wrekin Council (TWC) are consulting with residents on the installation of several new football pitches and a pavillion on the land opposite Blackbird Close in Overdale.
Application TWC/2024/0357 is now open to the public for consultation, giving residents the opportunity to both view the proposals and to submit their comments on the plans.
Phase 1
The planning application is the first phase of a two stage process. The first stage consists of the building of a single story pavillion to include changing facilities and a kitchen, along with 3G (artificial) pitch and one grass pitch. It will also include the installation of access to the site and parking for vehicles and bicycles.
The second phase will deliver an additional four grass pitches, one of which will be flood lit.
Consultation on phase one of the project is open until Saturday 1 June 2024.
