Persimmon Community Champions is looking to fund local causes within the Telford & Wrekin borough.
With up to £64,000 being given away each month across the UK from its 31 businesses and head office, the housing developer is hoping to help more local community initiatives.
If you are a community group, sports club, educational setting, local charity or help provide a voluntary service within the borough you may be eligible to apply for a match funding grant of up to £1,000 from the scheme.
The last few months have been difficult for many, especially charities and support groups, who would ordinarily raise much needed funds through various events and activities.
Perhaps your group needs to replace old equipment, provide training to its volunteers, or you may be a new support venture looking to help those in need following the pandemic.
If this is the case then the Community Champions may be able to help.
During September 2020 the national programme donated £62,800 to local communities throughout the country and it hopes to give away up to £750,000 in 12 months to local good causes across the UK.
