Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

2021 has been another unusual and difficult year for everybody, as the pandemic continues to loom over everything. Despite all of that, we’ve managed to return to some degree of normality.

We’ve managed to get some events off the ground this year, from returning classics like the Fun Run, to our more poignant Community act of Remembrance, and we were glad to see so many people turn out for those.

Now, as the holiday season rapidly approaches, we’ve managed to hold a couple of Christmas events already, and have supported local groups with donations.

We also have our final Christmas event tomorrow at 2pm, over by Lawley War Memorial. The weather is looking hopeful and it’s going to be our biggest event of the year, so we’re looking forward to seeing you all there!

But if you can’t make it, all of the staff and councillors at Lawley and Overdale Parish Council would like to take this chance to say a merry Christmas and a happy new year to everybody in the parish and beyond.

A digital Christmas card wishing everybody a merry Christmas and a happy new year from all the staff and councillors at Lawley and Overdale Parish Council.

Wrap up warm, stay safe, enjoy time with your families if you can, and let’s all hope that 2022 promises to be a brighter year for everybody.

Keep your eyes open for news about events we’ve got planned for next year. Including, hopefully, the return of Summerfest!

We’ll see you next year!
