Lawley and Overdale Parish Council has been advised that there will be traffic management measures in place for five days on Colliers Way, Old Park in August 2022, to undertake a new water main connection.
Severn Trent, on behalf of The Wrekin Housing Group, is planning to undertake a new water main connection starting on Monday 1 August 2022, and the work is expected to last for five days, until Friday 5 August 2022.
The works will be carried out on the footpath, across the carriageway, and into the entrance of the Colliers Way housing development, near the The Wrekin Housing Group’s office junction. In order to carry out the work, Severn Trent with have multi-way traffic lights in place on the site.
A temporary walkway will also be provided due to the footpath closure.
If Severn Trent needs to interrupt the water supply to any homes in the area during the course of the work, they will notify residents in advance.
