Work is planned for this week as follows:
- Weeding & edging flowerbeds at Dawley Bank and Lawley Village Green
- Strimming around the bus stops on Station Road
- Strimming along Dawley Road towards the footbridge
- Strimming and cutting back around the steps by Newdale Pool
Glass has also been removed from the footpath by Newdale Pool.
Due to staff holidays we will be providing a limited service this week. However, the team will be scraping, edging and jet washing the path along Cemetery Road and also removing some fly tipping from Cemetery Road.
Work has begun to create lots of new flowerbeds around the Parish. The beds have been marked out and work will begin shortly to spray and remove the grass. They will be planted with a mix of native wildflowers and annuals at the end of April to create lots of colourful displays during the Summer and early Autumn. The PET Team will also carry out work to improve and tidy the circle at the junction of Overdale and Rock Road.
The shaded areas on the maps below show the locations of the work to be done:

The team will be installing picnic benches and benches at various sites around the Parish over the next few weeks, including Lawley, The Rock, Dawley Bank and Overdale. Work will begin on Lawley Village Green on 21st March.
