Work was completed this week in the following areas:

• Pruning the steps at Princes End leading to Avondale
• Pruning around the 2 kissing gates on Lawley Playing Fields
• Cutting back tree overhang on Lawley Drive
• Spading off and pruning the path to Tom Morgan Close
• Strimming weeds from Bartholomew Road to Lawley Village Green
• Strimming the footpath at the rear of Newdale School
• Pruning and strimming the Bridleway from Rock Road to Bellpit Play Area
• Strimming around the bench on Bellpit Play Area
• Cutting back briars and blowing clear the path on land off Acer Close
• Spraying weeds on the footbridge across West Centre Way towards St Helier

During this week work was completed in the following areas:

• strimming, pruning and litter picking the footpath from Ercall View, Overdale to the motorway underpass
• scraping and spraying the footpath and footbridge in Lawley Gate
• strimming and spraying the footpath and steps behind Charlecote Park
• strimming and pruning the entrance to the footpath off Rock Road opposite the entrance to Overdale
• spraying weeds on Wrekin Way footbridge
• pruning along the footpath at the end of St Heliers
• pruning the footpath from Martingale Way to Heath Hill
• pruning, strimming & spraying along Wrekin Trundle
• spraying around Glendale Circle
• pruning at both ends of West Centre Way footbridge

Work was completed this week in the following areas:

• pruning and tree lifting along West Centre Way and on the traffic island at the junction with Caledonian Way
• strimming along West Centre Way and on the roundabout at Caledonian Way
• pruning and scraping moss around the footbridge at Lawley Gate
• cutting back brambles from the Wrekin Trundle
• removing a small fly tip from Arleston Lane

During the week the following work was completed:

• pruning along the footpath from New Works to the Wrekin Trundle
• pruning and scraping both side of the footbridge across West Centre Way
• Spraying weeds along the lower part of West entre Way
• pruning at various sites along Colliers Way an the top of Rock Road

The team also put up a number of signs around the Parish reminding dog owners that the must clean up after their dogs

During this week the following work was completed:

• pruning and cutting back gorse along the footpath on land off Acer Close
• cutting back shrubs along Bellpit Lane to improve sight lines for motorists and pedestrians
• strimming and pruning along Station Road and around Avondale
• removing a small fly tip from Colliers Way
