PET Work week commencing 6th March

Work was completed in the following areas:

  • Footpath edged on Calerdonian Way
  • Fallen pine tree removed from Caledonian Way
  • Cleared grass and sprayed flowerbeds on Tom Morgan Gardens
  • Fallen tree removed from the footpath on Colliers Way
  • Broken glass removed from the footpath on Mossey Green Way
  • Litter picked from the footpath and ditch on Arleston Lane
  • Broken glass removed from the footpath on Dawley Road by the Motorway Bridge
  • Additional dog-fouling signs placed in the area around Arleston Lane and the footbridge to Lawley Village
  • The Clock Tower bed on Lawley Village Green weeded and bark raked
  • Mud scraped off the path by Lawley Gate footbridge
  • Mud scraped from the footpath and ruts filled on the grass verge on Arleston Lane
  • Leaves cleared from the path at Bartholomew Road
  • Mud scraped from the footpath by Newdale Pool
  • Leaves blown from the path at the St Helier’s end of West Centre Way footbridge
  • Pruned the hedge at the St Heliers end of the West Centre Way footbridge and removed collapsed fencing

PET Work week commencing 27th February

Work was completed in the following areas:

  • Mud scraped from the path on Old Office Road
  • Leaves cleared from the footpath on Rock Road from Marlborough Way to Overdale
  • Leaves cleared from the footpath on Arleston Lane
  • Leaves cleared from Bartholomew Road to Lawley Primary School
  • Litter picked on Tom Morgan Garden
  • Missing trail markers replaced on the Parish History Trail
  • Mud and leaves cleared from the footpath from the top of Rock Road to Marlborough Way
  • Litter removed from Ironbridge Way
  • Holly pruned back off the path on the Wrekin Trundle
  • Leaves blown from the path from Arleston Lane to the footbridge
  • Overgrowth hard pruned by the bridge at the rear of Newdale Pool and litter picked in the same area
  • Hedge pruned on Tom Morgan Garden from the rose bed to the top entrance
  • The team also completed the project started the previous week to tidy up and improve the areas around Cedar Close and Oak Road

 

PET Work week commencing 20th February

Work was completed in the following areas:

  • Overgrowth pruned off the footpath on Mossey Green Way by the motorway bridge
  • Mud scraped from the path by Old Park Pool
  • Grass ruts filled in and debris cleared from the verge off Old Park Way
  • Overhang pruned from the footpath on Bartholomew Road
  • Leaves blown from the path on Arleston Lane
  • Flowerbed on Dawley Bank strimmed and raked 
  • Flowerbed by the Clock Tower on Lawley Village Green strimmed and raked
  • Glass cleared from he footpath at the rear of Newdale Pool and mud scraped off
  • Footpaths at Bellpit Play Area scraped of mud and edged
  • Steps blown clear of leaves at Princes End Play Area
  • Fly Tip removed from Old Park Pool
  • Glass swept from Old Office Road
  • Storm debris removed from Old Park Way, Rock Road, steps at Acer lose and Park Road
  • Road cones removed from the middle of Lawley Drive
  • The team also started work to tidy up and improve the open spaces around Cedar Close and Oak Road on Overdale – further details are available in the PET Updates section

 

PET Work completed week commencing 16th January

Work was completed in the following areas:

 

  • fallen branches removed from the footpath at Arleston Lane
  • leaves cleared from the footbridge at West Centre Way
  • deep ruts filled on the grass verge at Concorde, Dawley Bank
  • glass removed from the footpath at Woodrush Heath
  • shrub beds at Old Park tidied and re-barked
  • litter picked at Old Park around the shrub beds
  • Berberis pruned back at Dawley Bank
