PET WORK WEEK COMMENCING 24TH JULY

Work was completed in the following areas:

  • Pruned the large shrub area around Lawley Village Green pond
  • Removed a fly tip of plastic containers from Lawley Village Green
  • Pruned a long stretch of  brambles on the Wrekin Trundle and cut back overgrowth from the path
  • pruned brambles from the footpath off Churchward Drive
  • cut back overhanging hedges from the alleyway at Grove Road
  • cleared an overgrown raised bed on the Community Garden
  • strimmed weeds and shrubs from around the motorway bridge and road signs at Arleston and blew the footpath clear
  • pruned hedges off the footpath at Old Park open space

 

PET WORK WEEK COMMENCING 17TH JULY

Work was completed in the following areas:

  • Strimmed weeds from Bartholomew Road to the entrance to Lawley Village Green
  • Strimmed nettles around the pond on Lawley Village Green
  • Scraped and strimmed weeds around the footbridge at Lawley Gate
  • Strimmed weeds from the alleyway at Glendale
  • Ongoing watering at he Community Garden
  • Added compost to the raised beds at the Community Garden
  • Pruned around the decking area at Old Park Pool
  • Pruned shrubs on the verge at the front of the Carpenter Centre
  • Pruned shrubs above the wall at the top of West Centre Way
  • Pruned around the entrance to St Heliers

PET WORK WEEK COMMENCING 10TH JULY

Work was completed in the following areas:

  • Removed a small fly tip from Colliers Way
  • Pruned brambles from the footpath at Grove Road, Overdale
  • Ongoing watering at the Community Garden
  • Cut back brambles from Churchward Drive to Teawell Close
  • removed glass from the road at Cedar Close
  • Cut back brambles from Newdale School to the Rock Road crossing
  • Pruned shrubs at the entrance to Marlborough Way
  • Pruned overhang back from the steps at Old Park Pool
  • Crown lifted and pruned cherry trees at Old Park open space
  • Pruning on a large part of the Newdale stretch of Ironbridge Way
  • Cut back roses and brambles from the footpath on West Centre Way
  • Remove weeds and shrubs from the kerb edge at St Helier
  • Pruned hedges off the footpath on Arleston Lane
  • Made safe loose nails in fencing on Ironbridge Way
  • Dead headed roses in the Community Garden
  • Scraped weeds and blown debris clear on Arleston Lane footbridge
  • Scraped weeds and blown debris clear on West Centre Way footbridge
  • Scraped weeds at Cedar Close, Overdale
  • Cut back brambles from Wrekin Trundle path
  • Cleared farrier debris from the path at the rear of Newdale School
  • Crown lifted cherry trees from around the road sign on Rock Road by the Methodist Church

PET WORK WEEK COMMENCING 3RD JULY

Work was completed in the following areas:

  • Sprayed weeds and pruned back brambles at Cedar Close, Overdale
  • Weeded around the bus stop on Glendale
  • Litter picked around the clock tower on Lawley Village Green
  • Glass removed from the road at Arleston Lane
  • Public right of way off Churchward drive mowed
  • Mowed the bridleway off Rock Road
  • Mowed the verge and around the bench on the Rock public open space
  • Mowed either side of the Wrekin Trundle and sprayed the edge of the footpath
  • Mowed around the Community Herb Garden and along the edges of the footpath
  • Planted additional plants in the Community Herb Garden
  • Regular watering in the Community Garden
  • Mowed the edges of the footpath at the rear of Newdale School
  • Sprayed weeds on Arleston footbridge
  • Cleared overgrowth from road signs at Old Office Road
  • Pruned back hedges at the top of Station Road to improve the sight line for traffic

Work was completed in the following areas:

  • mowed along the footpath from the top of Charlecote Park to Teawell Close
  • Mowed, strimmed and blown the footpath on Wrekin undle
  • Pruned along Rock Road to the traffic lights
  • Pruned along the path at Cedar Close, Overdale
  • Pruned and weeded on the footbridge across West Centre Way towards St Heliers
  • Pruned around Arleson Lane footbridge
  • Removed a fly tip from Arleston Lane
  • Cleared mud and debris from the footpath outside St John’s church, Dawley Road
  • Cleared wind damaged branches from West Centre Way
  • Blown leaves and debris from the alleyway off Glendale
  • Pruned hedges on Dawley Road back off the footpath
  • strimmed around the kissing gate on Lawley Playing Field and litter picked the area
  • strimmed the bridleway from Rock Road to Cedar Close
  • strimmed the footpath edge at the rear of St Heliers
