Work was completed in the following areas:

  • Swept up broken glass on Cedar Close
  • Removed an abandoned Asda trolley from Princes End play area
  • Cut off overhanging branches onto Wrekin Way behind Newdale School
  • Cut off brambles and branches overhanging the footpath on Old Office Road
  • Cut back brambles on the Wrekin Trundle
  • cut back brambles and ferns overhanging the footpath at Grove Road alleyway
  • Cut back brambles over the footpath from Malborough Way to Overdale traffic lights
  • Cut off overhanging branches from the footpath from the bottom of Park Road to Cemetery Road and blew debris from the path
  • Picked up a fly tipped wooden pallet on Dawley Road
  • Reported a fallen tree on Arleston Lane
  • Blew debris from the paths after the tractor mow at Overdale MUGA, Lawley Village Green and Lawley playing fields
  • Strimmed the path edge from the bottom of steps at Old Park open space to the pond
  • Strimmed nettles overhanging the foot path to the junction at Malborough Way (school route)
  • Strimmed around Lawley pond
  • Strimmed around the entrance to Village Drive
  • Reported a bollard ripped out of the ground at the entrance to Lawley Common
  • Cut up and removed a large fallen tree branch in the Community Garden
  • Lifted low tree branches from over the footpath and grass verge at Rock Road junction with the Wrekin Way
  • Side and top pruned the long hedge at the Community Garden
  • removed broken overhanging tree branches at Hill Road Overdale
  • Lifted overhanging low branches from the footpath near the old tram bridge
  • Cut back overhanging brambles and low tree branches at Acer Close steps

PET WORK COMPLETED WEEK COMMENCING 3RD JUNE

Work was completed in the following areas:

  • Picked up three pieces of plaster board in the middle of the road at Old Park Way
  • Strimmed around the old tram bridge off Ironbridge Way
  • Strimmed down weeds on Arleston Lane at the M54 bridge
  •  Cleaned up broken glass and litter picked in the Community Garden
  • Tidied up the tulips and weeded around the Community Garden
  • Swept bark off the footpath back onto the shrub bed at Old Park open space
  • Picked up a Street Champion’s litter bag on Milners Lane
  • Weeded and cut back grass edges around Lawley Gate footbridge
  • Blew debris from the footpath around the bus stop on Glendale
  • Blew debris from around the hardstanding at Lawley Circle
  • Put in new batteries and installed the memory cards in the Speed Indicator Devices on Garfield Road and Milners Lane
  • Blew debris from the foot path and cut back an overhanging wild rose on Arleston Lane, from the public house to the M54 bridge,
  • Strimmed around the path edge at the bottom of Lawley Drive,towards Ketley Dingle roundabout
  • Strimmed and blew debris from the footpath between Rock Road and the top of Newdale
  • Strimmed around the two bus stops Station Road
  • Strimmed around the entrance to Princes End Play Area off Station Road
  • Lifted low tree branches hanging  over the footpath opposite Clips Moor
  • Lifted low tree branches hanging over the footpath opposite Lawley School
  • Lifted low trees branches hanging over the footpath entrance to Village Drive
  • Cut back overhanging branches off Lawley Drive
  • Pruned around the road sign and lifted low tree branches at St Helier
  • Pruned the open space area at the front of St Helier
  • Pruned around Lawley Circle to improve the sight line for cars at the junction with Village Drive
  • Cut back overhanging branches off the footpath on the Newdale stretch of the Ironbridge Way,
  • Replaced two missing locks on gates – one on the Ironbridge Way footpath  to open space at Malborough Way, the other one at Lawley Playing Fields
  • Cut back overhang on the footpath off Ironbridge Way to Charlecote Park and Overdale traffic lights
  • Sprayed weeds around the footpath from Rock Road to Newdale
  • Sprayed weeds around the entrance to Princes End Play Area off  Station Road
  • Sprayed around trees on Glendale
  • Sprayed around trees and fence line on Lawley Drive adjacent to the Care Home
  • Pruned the inner hedge around the Community Garden
  • Assisted with litter picking on the play area at the caravan park off Dawley Road

  • Dragged out an abandoned Asda trolley from Old Park pond
  •  Removed a fly tipped child’s pushchair from the footpath at Princes End Play Area

  • Sprayed the fence line  on the Wrekin Way at the rear of Newdale school
